"Living With Percents" is designed to give the math student a basic understanding of the concept of percent arithmetic. This 46 minute video is divided into 7 menu sections where the first several sections explain percent numbers and how percents are connected to fraction and decimal numbers. The next section explains how to understand simple percent word problems using color coding so the student can clearly see the different components of the percent problem. The following sections explain percent increase and percent decrease problems. And finally, there are several word problems to help solidify the students understanding of real world percent word problems.
